As a little girl, Alisa loved cooking. She grew up in Los Angeles (one of the best food cities in the world!), so it was only a matter of time before she found her passion in the culinary arts. Over the years she learned how to effortlessly pair her craft in the kitchen with any given wine. Alisa is continuously expanding her skills, creativity and knowledge of food and wine and was the proud recipient of the 2010 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
Alisa currently lives in Manitou Springs. Her daughter, Stella Blue, is currently attending CSU in Fort Collins. When not on sales calls, Alisa loves skiing, live music, cooking, and listening to The Grateful Dead.
“Just like becoming an expert in wine – you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford – you learn about great food by finding the best there is whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child (American Chef, Teacher, Cookbook Author and TV Personality)
